Fathers: An Endangered Species - 3 DVD series

We are living in the day of the fatherless generation. Children are crying out to be mentored. The scripture says we have many instructors but not many fathers (I Corinthians 4:15). Today we’re allowing the government and social workers to replace fathers and take their responsibility. Fathers are becoming extinct. Simply having children doesn’t make a male a father. Being a father is a matter of responsibility. To be a father is to be in partnership with God. It is to work with the Creator of the universe in shaping human character and determining destiny. Certain things are needed to get fathers off the endangered species list. There must be a turning of the hearts of fathers to their children to keep the curse from destroying families (Malachi 4:6). A father must see himself as the foundation of the family. He must be the family’s source, sustainer, nourisher and upholder. What fathers need to do to get off the endangered species list is to teach their children the Word of God. The best inheritance a father can leave his children is a spiritual one.
